Shared Supported Accommodation (SSA) or Group Home
The house offers support staff 24/7, including sleepover support by a diverse range of male and female staff. Our staff are committed to providing our participants with a high level of support to develop and build life skills. These include budgeting, shopping, cooking, self-care, maintaining your living environment and social skills. The current residents are very active and social, they enjoy getting out and about in the Tamworth community.
This modern group home is a large, family style home which offers support for six adults with a disability. It is located in a new residential estate in Calala. The home provides comfort, independence, social interaction and peace of mind for family members and carers. We currently have two vacancies available and we encourage people with lower support needs to apply.
There is a shared kitchen, laundry, outdoor area and two living areas. Each resident has their own bedroom which they can personalise with their own belongings.
Residents can be NDIS or self-funded. Our fees include rent, food, utilities, home maintenance, internet access, Foxtel, communal appliances and communal area furniture.
The kitchen, living area and laundry is furnished. Large unfurnished bedroom with built-in wardrobe. This comfortable home offers air conditioning and heating.
The Challenge bus is available to transport residents for social outings.
