Shared Supported Accommodation (SSA) or Group Home
24/7 support is provided by staff with specialised skills in supporting people with mental health related disability and complex needs. They will support you with daily living tasks and develop your skills for independent living, including helping you to connect with activities and other support providers in the community.
Support will be tailored to helping you achieve the goals in your NDIS Plan.
Our property in Williamstown comprises of two separate buildings; one for men (unit 1) and one for women (unit 2) aged 18-64 years. Both unit 1 and 2 comprise of 5 bedrooms and 3 toilets. We are located walking distance from local shops, cafes and the beach.
There is shared kitchen, dining, living areas and also shared bathrooms and laundry. There is a shared communal lounge room on the site with a TV and a computer for the residents to use. There is also a meeting room, which is used as a private space to hold 1:1 meetings, etc. We have a large courtyard with outdoor seating, veggie garden and bbq area.
The staff base is located within the premises but is separate from the residential living quarters.
