Description

CHL is proud to offer two brand new independent units located on a corner property in a quiet area of Castlemaine, VIC.

Both units feature two bedrooms, one bathroom and separate toilet. Under 'Robust' SDA design requirements these units would suit one tenant each, or two tenants each under 'Improved Livability' SDA design category.

All units are about to be completed in the next couple of months. CHL is responsible for the on-going property management.

All buildings comply with current disability design requirements under Australian Standards (AS) and the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

The following are the minimum eligibility criteria for future occupants of the property:

• Participation in the NDIS: 

Ideally, the tenant’s NDIS plan includes eligibility for SDA at a 'Improved Livability' or ‘Robust’ level.

Where no future tenant can be identified that is already eligible for SDA at a ‘Robust’ or 'Improved Livability' level, the future tenant could also be selected on the basis that he/she requires the building design features recommended for ‘Robust’ or 'Improved Livability'. An application for SDA eligibility would be submitted when moving in.
