Shared Supported Accommodation (SSA) or Group Home
The house offers 24/7 support staff, including sleepover support by a diverse range of male and female staff. Our staff are committed to providing our residents with a high level of support to develop and build life skills. These include budgeting, shopping, cooking, self-care, maintaining your living environment and social skills. We will encourage all residents to be active in the local community.
This modern group home is a large, family style home which offers support for high functioning male adults with a disability. It is located in a new residential estate in Aberglasslyn. The home provides comfort, independence, social interaction and peace of mind for family members and carers. We currently have three vacancies available and we encourage males with lower support needs (no mobility issues) to apply.
There is a shared kitchen, laundry, open plan living area, outdoor area and fully fenced backyard. Each resident has their own bedroom which they can personalise with their own belongings. This comfortable home offers air conditioning and heating.
Residents can be NDIS or self-funded. Our fees include rent, food, utilities, home maintenance, internet access, basic Foxtel, communal appliances and communal area furniture.
The Challenge bus is available to transport residents for social outings.
Please note that this group home would not suit residents with mobility issues as it has a very steep driveway.
