South Village offers residents a blend of luxury and comfort, designed to capture amazing views of Sydney’s CBD, Botany Bay, Cronulla Beach and Royal National Park.
Summer Housing’s 10 apartments are peppered throughout the Viewpoint building, which is one of seven buildings that make up South Village. The apartments boast an abundance of built-in-storage, open plan living, and stylish finishes and are located above the main shopping quarter.
A reliable public transport network connects you to every corner of Sydney. From Kirrawee train station, you can be at the airport and the CBD in a little over 30 minutes.
A two-way communications system enables tenants to contact support workers (in an additional on-site apartment) in the event of an emergency or unplanned support need. The apartments also have structural provision for ceiling hoists and are assistive technology ready.
The average apartment size (internal area) for the South Village apartments is 61 square metres.
The beautifully presented single-level apartments have been designed to achieve Platinum level certification under Livable Housing Design Guidelines and meet High Physical Support design requirements under the NDIS. The apartments will be enrolled with the NDIA as 1 Bedroom, 1 Resident High Physical Support Apartments.
Viewpoint in South Village is scheduled for completion in mid 2019.
How much does it cost to live in these apartments?
The SDA funding in your NDIS plan will be paid to Summer Housing. In addition, you must pay a ‘reasonable rent contribution’, which is 25% of your Disability Support Pension, plus any Commonwealth Rent Assistance you receive.
