This brand new development offers beautiful, ultra-modern apartments in the highly sought after location of Woolloongabba, just 2.9km from Brisbane CBD.
Summer Housing has ten immaculately presented apartments available for occupancy that are peppered throughout the 140-unit private residential building.
The Mews is located within the multi-stage South City Square development, which upon completion in 2020 will include 13,000sqm of retail including a supermarket, cinema, medical centre, health and wellness precinct, childcare centre, marketplace, cafes, restaurants and a landscaped central park.
Superbly located, The Mews boasts multiple transport links to Brisbane CBD and the Gold Coast, including Buranda train station and bus interchange.
The design of the Summer Housing apartments will exceed Livable Housing Australia’s Platinum design level and meet High Physical Support design requirements under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). An on-site Supported Independent Living provider will provide a concierge support service to tenants of the apartments.
All ten apartments feature open plan living, stone bench tops, soft close cabinetry, quality appliances, built-in robes, carpet in the master bedroom, wider doorways and a private balcony. Apartments have abundant natural light and access to a rooftop retreat for dining and leisure.
The single-level apartments also offer customisable kitchen, laundry and bathroom features and a two-way communications system that enables tenants to contact concierge services in the event of an emergency or for unplanned support. Apartments are assistive technology ready, have an emergency power solution in the event of a power outage and structural provisions for the installation of ceiling hoists.
The average apartment size (internal area) for the Mews apartments is 65.8 square metres.
Apartments will be enrolled with the NDIS as Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA), 1 bedroom, 1 resident High Physical Support Apartments.
The development is due for completion in April 2019.
How much does it cost to live in these apartments?
The SDA funding in your NDIS plan will be paid to Summer Housing. In addition, you must pay a ‘reasonable rent contribution’, which is 25% of your Disability Support Pension, plus any Commonwealth Rent Assistance you receive.
